Candid Candor is a posting forum that specifically celebrates the interests, concerns, issues, and general points of view of the same gender men of color. That being said, this discussion group is inclusive to all who wish to participate. Despite having a specific target of interest, this forum embraces diversity, does not discriminate, and readily greets anyone who has something constructive to add and/or wishes to engage in a productive manner. In other words, you do not have to be a gay man of African descent to be a welcomed member of this forum.
The primary rules are as follows:
1. This is an adult-themed site. Members must be 18 and over to join. Also, the posting of material that displays and/or encourages pedophilia or child pornography is STRICTLY forbidden.
2. Respect. We not only welcome conversation and debate, we encourage it. With that said, we recognize that debate can at times become heated, but we generally expect members to treat each other with decency and tact. Tear into topics with unabashed vigor, but remember that every one has a right to their own opinion--even if it does not mesh with yours. You may not threaten, harass, flame, or seek to bait other members. Please do not be goaded into defending yourself against discourteous attacks with more incivility. Instead, report the post to the moderator and allow them to take the appropriate action. (NOTE: Abuse reports will be examined on a case by case basis. If it violates the code of conduct, it will be handled accordingly--in the meantime, we by and large do not divulge discipline procedures to members.)
3. Though we are a forum that is primarily geared toward the issues and concerns same gender loving men of color, again, we embrace diversity and do not condone discriminatory conduct. Do not use language that sounds like, stands for, hints at, abbreviates, or insinuates hate speech (including but not limited to racial, ethnic, sexual, or religious slurs) or illegal activities. Messages that slander others on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, or religion are prohibited.
4. Please do not create a screen name that is intended to aggravate or incite other members, or that references controversial religious topics, notorious people or organizations, or current or historical events that may be considered inflammatory or inappropriate. We reserves the right to change any username that is deemed inappropriate for any reason. If in doubt, please ask first.
5. Do not impersonate another member or screen name (including mocking a screen name by using similar-looking text characters).
6. No spam. We welcome folks to share information with each other, but shameless plugs and/or repeating posts ad nauseum is a no-no.
7. No shouting. Please do not type in ALL CAPS. It is very distracting, not easy on the eye, and is an easy way for other members to be inclined to not bother reading your posts.
8. Do not post and/or broadcast personal information (I.E. passwords, addresses, phone numbers, or any other generally classified information--be it yours or anyone elses.)
9. Please do not use the forum for any commercial purpose without the express consent of the administrator. You may only create one account for yourself as an individual. You may not create an account for your corporation or other business entity.
Disclaimers:
1. If you violate the Code of Conduct or the terms of use, your account may be suspended or permanently deactivated. While we will endeavor to notify you of the reasons for our actions, Candid Candor is not obliged to warn members before taking any action on your account.
2. Candid Candor is not obligated to monitor every post, but we reserve the right to remove any post or user we feel has violated the letter or the spirit of our Code of Conduct or Terms of Use.
3. Candid Candor reserves the right to remove any user-created or uploaded content at any time, without notice.
4. Some l may warrant a warning, while others will result in immediate account suspension. We reserve sole judgment in all such matters. In almost all cases, severe racial remarks or hate speech, profane usernames, posting viruses or URLs to viruses will result in immediate and permanent removal from Candid Candor.

1. Some areas of the Candid Candor may contain links to other websites. Please be advised that Candid Candor does not control and is not responsible for the content on any of these offsite links.
2. You are responsible for any actions you may take based on advice or information you receive from other members. Use your own good judgment when evaluating such information as the Candid Candor does not control, sanction or guarantee any information transmitted by our users.
3. the Candid Candor does not control the content posted by our users. While we reserve the right to delete content that we find objectionable, we are not obligated to do so. Therefore, exercise caution when reading or viewing content posted by others and realize that there is a great diversity of opinion among our members. If you are easily offended, you may wish to participate in a community more in line with your views. However, if you value multiplicity of thought and can respect others with differing opinions, you'll be right at home at the Candid Candor.
4. Be a good Internet citizen and report content that violates our Code of Conduct or Terms of Use to a moderator or administrator.
5. Do not give out any personally identifiable information (such as social security numbers, credit card numbers, names and addresses, telephone numbers, driver license numbers) to strangers online, as this information may be used for illegal or harmful purposes.
